SHORT BIO:
Attended Pennsylvania State University, graduating with High Distinction, then graduated from Rutgers School of Law. In 1997, while at Rutgers and before GLBT marriage was really being discussed, a law professor asked to keep a research paper concerning the importance and Constitutional significance of marriage rights for the LGBTQ+ community, so that she may read it to future classes.
After graduating from Rutgers, clerked for five years with mentor, the Honorable President Judge of York County, Stephen P. Linebaugh, then immediately opened the Law Firm.
The Law Firm is now in its 22nd year at the same location on South Front Street in Harrisburg.
A FEW LAW FIRM HIGHLIGHTS - SO FAR:
Voted one of only three Attorneys to be on the "Hot List" in the PBS publication, "Central PA Magazine".
Was an original publisher of the local GLBT newspaper, now known as the "Central Voice".
Raised $10,000.00 for the American Foundation for AIDS Research and then traveled with the Foundation to Africa.
Was appointed by the Honorable President Judge Todd A. Hoover, of Dauphin County, as a Guardian Ad Litem for approximately 80 County children.
Recently won an Appeal to the Superior Court concerning a Transgender Name Change.
Won a complicated Adoption, Grandparents Rights case, for which the Opinion by the Trial Judge was published in the Dauphin County Legal Journal.
